In Japanese, a tire puncture is called a panku (it sounds like "punk"). In English, a punk is either a very bad young man or a person who plays punk music--a punk rocker.
Atsushi's rear bike tire got a puncture when he was halfway to Kyoto. He had to push his bike ten kilometers before he found a bicycle repair shop.
Note that it is also quite common to say that a tire has a hole in it.
My back tire had a large hole in it, so I had to replace the tire and the inner tube.
