Yumiko: Do you have a job, Hikaru?

Kaori: Yes, I am an arubaito.

Yumiko: Do you mean you have a __________?

Please guess the one best answer.

A. second job

B. arbeit

C. part-time job

D. fun job

E. A or C

This is not, strictly speaking, Japanese-English, but I'm including it because I do hear it come up quite often in my classes.

Examples(例文)

Arbeit is a German word that means "work" or "labor." In Japanese, arubaito means "part-time job." There are several different terms for this kind of job in English, but I believe that "part-time job" is the most common.

Susie got a part-time job at McDonald's.
